Luxury Faucet Installation
CF Plumbing installs premium kitchen and bathroom faucets for homes throughout La Jolla, Del Mar, Solana Beach, Encinitas, Cardiff-by-the-Sea, Carlsbad, and Rancho Santa Fe, as well as select areas of San Diego and Orange Counties.
Many of the faucets we install are selected by homeowners, designers, or through local showrooms. We regularly work with showrooms that refer their clients to CF Plumbing because they trust our team to install these fixtures properly and with the level of care they require. Homeowners are also welcome to purchase their own fixture, or CF Plumbing can assist with supplying one.
For an existing kitchen or bathroom, installation typically includes removing the current faucet and installing the new fixture in its place. During a remodel or new installation, the faucet is installed once the finished countertop, sink, or mounting surface is ready.
Finishes and Care
Premium fixtures require a different level of care than a standard faucet replacement. Specialty finishes can be delicate, and many luxury fixtures have unique installation requirements. Our technicians use the appropriate tools and installation methods to protect the fixture and surrounding surfaces while ensuring everything is properly secured, connected, and tested.
Waterworks, Waterstone, Fantini, California Faucets, Dornbracht, THG Paris, ROHL, Perrin & Rowe, Newport Brass, Grohe, Hansgrohe, and Brizo are among the brands we work with regularly, although our experience is not limited to these manufacturers.
Installation may include widespread faucets, wall-mounted faucets, pot fillers, tub fillers, and other specialty fixtures.
When working with an existing faucet that needs repair rather than replacement—including identifying an older fixture, sourcing specialty components, or locating parts that may be discontinued—that work is handled separately through our specialty fixture repair service.
Supply Lines and Shutoff Valves
As part of the installation, we inspect the existing water supply connections and shutoff valves serving the fixture. These components must be in good working condition to safely complete the installation.
When appropriate, existing supply lines may be replaced with new stainless steel supply lines. If a shutoff valve is seized, leaking, damaged, or otherwise unable to operate properly, replacement may be necessary before the new faucet can be installed. Any additional work is reviewed with the homeowner before proceeding.
Who Does the Work
Our technicians are experienced with premium and specialty plumbing fixtures and receive ongoing training on the products we install and service. Faucet installations are performed by experienced journeyman-level technicians or above—not by someone learning specialty fixture installation on the job.
For installations that require additional planning or present unusual conditions, the owner is available to assist with the project.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to buy the faucet through CF Plumbing?
No. Your faucet can be selected through a showroom, designer, or purchased directly by you. CF Plumbing can also assist with supplying the fixture. Either way, our team can handle the installation.
Can you replace one faucet without remodeling the room?
Yes. In many cases, an existing faucet can simply be removed and replaced while leaving the countertop, sink, and surrounding finishes intact.
What if the supply lines or shutoff valves need to be replaced?
We inspect the existing connections as part of the installation. If a supply line or shutoff valve is no longer in suitable condition, we will explain what is needed before completing any additional work.
Do you repair faucets as well as install them?
Yes. We stand behind the installation work we perform. Repairs involving an older or unidentified fixture, discontinued components, or specialty parts are handled through our specialty fixture repair service.
To help us prepare for your installation, photographs of the sink or mounting area and the faucet—including the box or model information once it arrives—are a helpful place to start.
